Regional Sales Consultant

We have two territories open: Southeast and Texas.
- For the Southeast territory, our preference is for the Sales Consultant to be located near Nashville, TN or Huntsville, AL. However, they can live anywhere in TN,
AL, GA, MS, KY and AR.
- For the Texas territory, our preference is for the Sales Consultant to be located near Abilene, TX. However, they can live anywhere in TX to adequately cover West Texas and major metros such as DFW, Houston,
Austin, and San Antonio.
Are you ready to be the face of a fast-growing, high-quality, independent retirement plan TPA? The Pension Source is seeking Regional Sales Consultants to lead our growth efforts. We are looking to hire a
Sales Consultant in each of the following territories: Southeast and Texas. These are foundational hires as we build a high-performing, relationship-driven sales team across the country.
You’ll represent a firm known for its white-glove
service, technical excellence, and long-term independence. We’re not backed by private equity and have no plans to sell ourselves. That stability and reputation will give you a meaningful edge in the field as you build relationships with financial
advisors and CPAs. We offer clients the best of both worlds that you get to sell – high-quality service with a boutique/personalized approach matched with the professionalized operations and full product suite (e.g. cash balance plans, 3(16)
fiduciary services) of a larger firm.
What Will You Do?
- Develop and secure relationships with referral partners, including Advisors, CPAs, and wholesalers to ensure that we are the first call for any qualified plan
in our market.
- Win start-up and takeover plans from our referral sources through in-person meetings, video calls, periodic email campaigns, and other channels.
- Conduct frequent in-person visits, networking events, and regional travel to
expand brand visibility and generate new qualified plan opportunities.
- Serve as a liaison between the client/referral source and Pension Source’s plan administration team to create our proposals and present them in “plain
English”.
- Maintain consistent pipeline activity with systematic follow-up habits, and report regularly on territory performance metrics in an effort to grow wallet share with referral sources.
- Gather all required information and data
that is required to run a proposal.
- Advance each prospect through the full sales cycle to a verbal commitment or confirmed win prior to handoff to onboarding.
What Do You Bring to Us?
- Demonstrated
track record of success in financial services or B2B sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience selling through advisors, CPAs, payroll firms, or similar referral relationships
- Proven experience in generating leads, managing a sales funnel from top
to bottom, and creatively identifying opportunities for incremental revenue generation.
- High-energy with a strong competitive streak and a go-getter mentality. You have a burning desire to win new business and are not content with the status
quo.
- Ability to independently plan travel and manage a sales territory
- Excellent business communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.
- Creativity with regards to identifying
new referral sources, target clients, sales channels, marketing efforts, and more.
- Desire to be part of a metrics-driven organization and upheld to a high standard.
- Buy-in to utilize our technology and continually evaluate new tools to
improve our sales efforts.
