We specialize in defined contribution plans like 401(k), 403(b), and profit-sharing plans, working with businesses of all sizes across many industries.

We pride ourselves not just on what we do, but on how we do it. Our team culture is shaped by six core traits that define how we treat clients, coworkers, and our work:

  • Gratitude with an Attitude
  • Courageous Self-Care
  • Putting Others First
  • Reciprocal Accountability
  • Confident Humility
  • Finish Strong and Celebrate Success

These values guide our relationships, our results, and our growth. We are looking for someone who shares this mindset and is ready to contribute meaningfully.

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Relationship Manager with deep, firsthand expertise administering DC, 401K, Profit Sharing, Multiple Employer Plans (MEPs), and Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs). This includes managing day-to-day administration, ensuring compliance with IRS and DOL regulations, and being the point of reference for clients and advisors.

This role is a mix of technical accuracy, strong client service, and initiative-taking communication. You will not only administer plans but build lasting relationships by putting others first and taking pride in your work from start to finish.

There is an opportunity to advance to a senior role, mentor newer team members, or take on project leadership as your career progresses with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer a portfolio of MEP/PEP plans, 401(k), 403(b), and profit-sharing plans from start to finish each year.
  • Review and interpret plan documents, perform compliance testing, calculate contributions, and prepare annual government filings such as Form 5500
  • Reconcile plan assets and ensure data is complete and accurate.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for your clients and their advisors, building trust and offering guidance.
  • Provide audit support for large plans and collaborate with CPAs and auditors.
  • Mentor junior team members and offer technical support within the team.
  • Help new clients onboard, working with our implementation team to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Participate in team meetings and process improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed of changes in regulations and best practices.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, while always remaining open to learning
  • Collaborate with plan vendors to support smooth operations, resolve issues, and keep plan data and services up to date.
  • Celebrate milestones, complete projects with care, and recognize team wins!

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience administering MEPs and/or PEPs, including understanding of pooled plan provider structures, participating employer coordination, and related compliance requirement.
  • 8–10+ years of experience administering defined contribution plans, with extensive experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations
  • Direct experience with annual compliance testing, contribution calculations, plan reconciliation, and Form 5500 preparation
  • Ability to read and interpret complex plan documents.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • High diligence and accuracy
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with industry-specific software
  • Professional, dependable, and client-focused

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Industry certifications such as QKA, QPA, CPC, or ERPA
  • Familiarity with CalcAir (Datair), FT Williams, or PensionPro
  • Experience supporting clients undergoing plan audits.
  • Knowledge of plan design strategies and consulting experience
  • Active involvement in professional organizations such as ASPPA or NIPA

What We Offer

  • A values-driven culture where people, purpose, and performance matter
  • A supportive environment that encourages self-care, growth, and leadership
  • Ongoing professional development and continuing education support
  • Flexible scheduling with the possibility of remote or hybrid work
  • Competitive compensation based on senior-level MEP/PEP experience and qualifications.
  • Opportunities to advance within a stable and respected firm.
  • A team that genuinely enjoys working together and celebrating success
