Retirement Plan Administrator
Goldberg, Swedelson & Associates
(Remote / Los Angeles CA / Hybrid)
We are looking for a Retirement Plan Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of well-rounded experience in plan administration. You will need to be proficient with all aspects relating to Profit Sharing and 401(k) plans.
- TPA firm experience
- Professional designations (ASPPA / NIPA preferred)
- Document drafting expertise, helpful
- Defined Benefit / Cash Balance experience, helpful
- Experience with Relius strongly preferred
- Experience with PensionPro and FT William helpful
- Experience with unbundled record keepers such as: John Hancock, Empower, American Funds, Transamerica, Voya
Responsibilities include:
- All related compliance testing (i.e. 401(a)(4), ADP/ACP, 410(b) etc.).
- Completion of valuation reports.
- Effective communication with clients and advisors to address all client issues, provide necessary research, problem solving and resolution support.
- Preparation of Form 5500 and related schedules.
- Assist plan sponsors with the plan termination process.
- Prepare preliminary design studies and projections for prospective clients.
