Position Overview:

This role is part of a team of associates that are charged with building and maintaining client rapport with TRPC and ensuring a positive client experience. The team collaboratively maintains a book of business. The successful candidate for this position will be innovative, self-motivated, and efficient while enjoying both strategic and detailed involvement with the clients’ retirement plans. The Relationship Manager/Plan Consultant will interact daily with clients, accountants, attorneys, investment advisors and other intermediaries serving as the central point of contact for guidance on the retirement plan compliance. The Relationship Manager is responsible to ensure quality client service.  The Relationship Manager is ultimately accountable for the client overall satisfaction with TRPC Services.

Job Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):

  • Be a TRPC expert, understanding how and who provides various services and how these can be utilized to exceed client expectations.
  • Actively participant to ensure that the clients’ operational and regulatory issues are resolved in a manner that exceeds client expectations.
  • Work as your clients’ liaison in delivering compliance reports and testing results prepared by skilled members of our highly functionalized organization.
  • Build trust and confidence with key personnel both at the client organization, as well as ancillary service providers (CPA, Investment Advisor, etc.).
  • Address unique or difficult regulatory and consultative issues and assist client in preparing plan amendments.
  • Through relationship building, develop an understanding of how the retirement plans impact and help meet the business needs of your clients.
  • Provide insight to management regarding trends in client expectations and how those can be met by TRPC.

Experience/Skill Requirements:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track multiple tasks and issues, set goals and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be mature and dependable.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and Adobe and a basic to intermediate understanding of Relius Administration & Document systems preferred.
  • Experience with third party administration, and defined benefit contributions.
  • Must be able to work both independently and with direction.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the retirement plan service area preferred.
  • ASPPA QKA or ERPA designation or approved equivalent preferred.

Compensation: $90K-$100K

10% of salary annual bonus target based on company and team performance
