Onboarding Specialist

Job Description
The Onboarding Specialist is the leader of the new client onboarding process at Tristar, reporting to the
Practice Manager. Specific responsibilities include:
- Liaison between client, financial advisor, and recordkeeper team for a smooth and successful onboarding transition.
- Obtain signatures on legal plan documents and compile documents into
a usable format.
- Track opportunities and proposals.
- Other operational responsibilities as needed
Desired Skills & Experience
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications and
skills:
- Professional credentials desired (ASPPA, ERPA, NIPA) and must be willing to pursue QKA if not currently held
- 2 years’ experience in TPA client-facing role, preferably in an onboarding capacity
- Experience reading
plan documents from all vendors to translate features into specifications for recordkeepers (on takeover plans).
- Experience using PensionPro (or other project management software) and tracking status of outstanding tasks.
- Advanced knowledge
and comfort level using Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Experience leading communication both written and verbally to clients and employees.
- Strong willingness to adopt AI practices into rote processes for
time efficiencies.
