At ERISA Services, we believe great work starts with great people. We are proud to have been recognized as a Top Workplace for six years running, an honor that means even more to us because it is based on feedback from our own team members. We have built a culture centered around teamwork, integrity, growth, and doing our very best for our clients and one another. If you are looking for a place where your experience is valued, your expertise can make an impact, and you can continue to grow your career, we would love to meet you.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned retirement plan professional who enjoys digging into the details, solving complex compliance questions, and sharing their knowledge with others.

In this role, you will work closely with our Plan Administrators and other team members to review retirement plan administration, valuations, testing, calculations, and special projects for accuracy and compliance. You will also serve as a trusted technical resource, providing research, guidance, and support on retirement plan and compliance matters.

If you are detail-oriented, enjoy solving complex problems, and are ready to use your retirement plan expertise in a role where quality truly matters, we would love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Review valuations, administration projects, compliance testing, and calculations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Research and provide guidance on ERISA and retirement plan compliance matters.
  • Respond to technical questions submitted to the Quality Assurance team.
  • Provide support related to plan documents, including amendments, takeover and start-up documents, and restatement projects.
  • Partner with Plan Administrators, Relationship Managers, New Business, and Management to provide technical guidance and training.
  • Assist with interpreting regulatory and legislative changes and implementing related procedures.
  • Help promote consistency, accuracy, and quality throughout our retirement plan administration processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of retirement plan industry experience, including significant experience with compliance review, A–Z plan administration, and/or plan design.
  • Working knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), 457, Cash Balance, Profit Sharing, and Money Purchase Plans.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERISA and related Department of Labor requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently research complex technical questions while knowing when collaboration or additional guidance is appropriate.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and regulatory deadlines.
  • Strong team orientation with a willingness to share knowledge and support others.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Commitment to ERISA Services’ Core Values.

Experience That Would Be A Plus

  • Experience using Pension Pro or another retirement industry CRM system.
  • Experience with FT William software, including Form 5500, plan documents, and compliance modules.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
