Job Summary

We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Head of Sales to lead our go-to-market efforts, build scalable sales infrastructure, and drive demand generation across our service lines. This role is for a hands-on leader who excels at crafting strategy, building operational frameworks, and driving scalable growth—not just overseeing what’s already in place. 

Job Responsibilities

Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Positioning

  • Analyze market trends and client needs to shape DWC’s go-to-market strategy
  • Identify gaps in the marketplace and recommend new service offerings
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine product-market fit and messaging

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and monitor a high-performing sales team
  • Conduct coaching sessions to ensure messaging consistency and consultative selling
  • Set and track quota targets, pipeline metrics, and performance benchmarks
  • Build and implement annual sales plans aligned with company goals

Infrastructure & Scaling

  • Design and implement scalable sales processes, tools, and reporting systems
  • Create organizational structure to support growth and cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner with marketing to drive demand generation and lead nurturing strategies

Relationship Management & Business Development

  • Cultivate relationships with financial advisors, plan sponsors, and strategic partners
  • Represent DWC at industry events, webinars, and networking forums
  • Lead complex sales cycles involving plan design, compliance, and consulting services

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of sales leadership experience in the TPA industry 
  • Proven success in building and scaling sales teams and infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of ERISA, 401(k), 403(b), and other qualified retirement plans
  • Experience shaping go-to-market strategies and launching new offerings
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coaching skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and accountability
  • Bachelor’s degree required; industry credentials (e.g., ASPPA, NIPA) a plus
