Retirement Plan Sales Consultant (New England–Based - Hybrid/Field)
Southern New Hampshire or Massachusetts-based candidates preferred; hybrid/field role
SetAway is a growing retirement plan consulting firm based in Bedford, NH, and we’re looking for a Retirement Plan Sales Consultant to help expand our presence across New England.
This role is ideal for someone who loves building relationships, understands the retirement plan space, and enjoys being out in the field with financial advisors, CPAs, and small-to-mid-sized business owners.
What you’ll do:
Key areas we’re looking for:
Retirement plan expertise (small to mid-sized plan focus):
2–4 years of experience working with retirement plans, particularly in the small to mid-sized plan market, with a solid
understanding of plan types, basic plan design concepts, and the advisor-driven sales environment.
Exceptional relationship and communication skills:
Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, with the
ability to earn trust quickly and maintain long-term partnerships through frequent in-person engagement.
Strategic and creative business development skills:
A creative and strategic thinker who can identify new referral sources,
target markets, and growth opportunities. Experience working a structured sales funnel from prospecting through close, with proven ability to manage a pipeline through consistent follow-up, accountability, and execution.
