Position Summary

This role centers on building and maintaining strong client relationships while leveraging deep expertise in the 401(k) industry. The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively, utilizing advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, expertly guiding them through plan organization and review processes, such as ADP/ACP and 401(a)(4) testing, asset reconciliation, and compliance management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing retirement plan portfolios and overseeing all aspects of plan administration—including census data collection, contribution calculations, nondiscrimination testing, trust accounting, account reconciliation, eligibility, and vesting.
  • Provide responsive support, addressing technical plan questions and resolving issues to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Restate legal documents, facilitating clear communication and understanding of plan updates with clients.
  • Partner with clients to proactively identify and resolve compliance issues across the firm, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Review and verify work related to ADP/ACP testing, asset reconciliation, 5500 forms, and related schedules with a focus on accuracy and transparency for clients.
  • Respond promptly and knowledgeably to client inquiries regarding 401(k) plans, reinforcing Prime Benefits’ commitment to service excellence.

Desired Skills

  • Highly organized, dependable, and professional with outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering positive client relationships and delivering solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Experience with Ft Williams products preferred.

Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • QKA or similar industry designation is a plus.
  • Experience with Ft Williams products is beneficial.
