Retirement Plan Administrator

(Rancho Cordova CA / Corona CA / Hybrid)

This position will be held in our Rancho Cordova or Corona Office, but Remote administrators are also welcome to apply.

What we are looking for:

This is a unique opportunity to be member of a fast-growing company with established procedures and technology. 401(k) Administrators and DB/Cash Balance Administrators are welcome to send their resume. We are seeking professionals with at least 2 years experience in the retirement plan industry and a familiarity with the various aspects of plan administration, including trust accounting, compliance testing, contribution allocations, preparation of Form 5500 and participant distributions. person must possess and effectively demonstrate the following:

• Character and integrity
• Minimum 2 years professional office experience
• Desire to take ownership of the position and put in hard work
• Team-oriented personality with the ability to also work independently
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Aptitude toward math and accounting
• Display discreetness, awareness and confidentiality of work
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities, flexibility, and adaptability.

Job Description:

The primary job duty encompasses all aspects of DC or DB/DC administration for a block of clients.  This includes the following:

• Client Communication
• Collecting payroll data from clients
• Scrubbing the payroll data for accuracy or discrepancies
• Balancing the payroll data against investment statements (i.e. accounting)
• Calculating the employer matching and profit sharing contributions
• Preparing the 5500 tax filing form
• Correspond with clients over phone and email

Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000
