Details:  The Benefit Advantage (TBA), a third party administrator of qualified employer sponsored plans is looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a Client Relationship Manager.  Client Relationship Managers serve as liaisons between TBA and its clients, ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction. They are also responsible for managing client relationships, which includes but is not limited to quarterly outreach to a set list of clients. TBA is a small and aggressively growing company.  This person must be flexible and able to work in high-volume environment. TBA offers a positive work environment that focuses on creating successful outcomes for our staff and our clients.

High Level Function of Client Relationship Manager:

  • Day to day contact via phone and email with clients, financial advisors & CPAs.
  • Provide support to Pension Administrators with phone calls, emails and other requests involving clients, financial advisors & CPAs.
  • Monitor and follow-up on assigned items to provide a high level of service with timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
  • Inform managers and pension administrators of sensitive client issues and special client projects.
  • Foster a positive work environment and support co-workers in achievement of individual and company goals.

Daily Tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Complete quarterly outreach calls to set list of clients
  • Assist clients with the annual Questionnaire & Census request, including fielding questions regarding missing data
  • Obtain EFAST credentials from clients
  • Complete Fund Company paperwork to update plan information (including plan document, contact changes, etc.) and other miscellaneous items
  • Complete Fund Company paperwork needed to pay fees from Plan assets & Plan forfeiture accounts
  • Assists clients with invoice questions, rollover form requests & enrollment kit orders

Qualifications:

  • Retirement plan administration experience preferred
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Independently manage workload and prioritization of duties
  • Meeting internal and external deadlines
  • Superior communications skills, both oral and written 
  • Commitment to excellence in providing a positive client experience
