Retirement Plan Processor

The Pension Design Group is seeking a detail-oriented Retirement Plan Processor to support the
accurate and timely processing of retirement plan contributions, distributions, and participant
transactions. This role combines data
processing, problem-solving, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Review payroll and contribution files for accuracy and completeness, resolve discrepancies, and submit contributions within processing deadlines.
- Review and process distributions, loans, hardship withdrawals, and required minimum distributions, including verifying eligibility and vesting.
- Maintain accurate participant records and transaction documentation to support annual reporting and audits.
- Follow plan provisions, regulatory requirements, and established processing procedures.
- Communicate with employers, participants, advisors, and internal teams to answer questions and resolve transaction issues.
- Stay current on relevant retirement plan rules and processing systems through ongoing training.
