ASC Announces Opening for Plan Document Support Specialist Plan Document Team
Due to continued growth and the upcoming Cycle 4 restatements in our Plan Document area, ASC is seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Professional to
join our Plan Document Team as a Plan Document Support Specialist. This position may be fully remote or based in our Los Angeles, CA office.

About the Role
Do you enjoy helping others, solving complex problems, and working with smart, supportive colleagues? As an ASC Plan Document Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting users of the ASC DGEM
Plan Document System and ASC plan documents. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate plan documents, smooth system use, and high‑quality support—combining technical knowledge, customer service, and
analytical problem‑solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Support existing clients using the DGEM Plan Document System and ASC plan documents via phone, email, web, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom, including troubleshooting and software
enhancements
- Respond to client questions involving plan document interpretation and regulatory application
- Assist with onboarding new clients by helping develop and maintain training materials such as webcasts, videos, user guides, online
help, and FAQs
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver consulting services through Silver Support and other client requests
- Partner with document drafters and software developers to design and maintain logic for system‑generated
checklists, validations, forms, and notices (e.g., SPDs, Safe Harbor notices)
- Perform testing on document system product upgrades and enhancements
- Perform data mapping and plan document conversion reviews, including file
analysis
- Review and test new or updated plan document templates for provision accuracy, and proper integration with the DGEM document generation system
- Work with ASC’s sales and marketing team to support business
growth
- Contribute to additional projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Broad knowledge of retirement plans, or strong interest in obtaining such knowledge, including applicable IRS
and ERISA regulations, demonstrated through an existing professional designation or meaningful progress toward one
- Minimum of three years’ experience in the retirement plan industry
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and
independent work skills
- A customer‑focused mindset with a genuine interest in helping and teaching others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with
ASC DGEM Plan Documents is preferred; experience with other plan document systems will be considered
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable researching and resolving complex document interpretation
questions
- Technically savvy and open to learning new tools and technologies
- Professional designations (e.g., ASPPA, NIPA) are a plus
- Patience—and a sense of humor—are essential for members of the ASC support
team!
