NPPG is seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to join our growing Retirement Plan Services
team. This position is available fully remote anywhere in the United States or at our corporate headquarters in Shrewsbury, New Jersey.

Position Summary
The Implementation Specialist is critical to the success of NPPG's Retirement Plan Services team. This individual is responsible for
onboarding new employer-sponsored retirement plans and ensuring a smooth, compliant transition from plan design to operational launch.
The role serves as the primary coordinator between plan sponsors, advisors,
recordkeepers, payroll providers, custodians, and internal teams to implement qualified retirement plans accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with IRS and ERISA requirements while delivering exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities
- Obtain, review, and process retirement plan paperwork for new client setup within established deadlines
- Lead retirement plan implementation and onboarding activities from initial sale through successful
launch
- Conduct implementation calls with plan sponsors, financial advisors, recordkeepers, and payroll providers
- Coordinate asset transfers, rollovers, trust establishment, and related
setup activities with custodians and recordkeepers
- Enter and maintain data within NPPG's CRM and retirement plan administration systems
- Perform web-based and proprietary system
administration
- Ensure implementation milestones are completed accurately and on schedule
- Transition plans to ongoing administration teams with complete and accurate handoff
documentation
- Provide exemplary customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Coordinate new account setup with advisors, providers, and internal
stakeholders
- Create, update, and submit reports, management logs, and implementation tracking documentation
- Address and resolve prospect and financial advisor
inquiries
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate successful plan implementations
- Participate in special projects, process improvements, and departmental
initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Applicants with direct retirement plan TPA experience will be given strong preference.
- Minimum 2 years of retirement plan implementation, onboarding, administration, or recordkeeping experience with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) required
- Alternatively, 3+ years of retirement plan
experience within financial services or retirement plan recordkeeping
- Strong understanding of qualified retirement plans and implementation processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Suite applications, especially Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
while collaborating across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and Department of Labor regulations related to qualified retirement
plans
- Experience implementing 401(k), Profit Sharing, Defined Benefit, MEP, or PEP plans
- Knowledge of and/or experience supporting ERISA Section 3(16) fiduciary services, including
retirement plan administration, compliance oversight, fiduciary responsibilities, and participant communications
- Experience working with multiple retirement plan recordkeeping platforms
- Experience with FT Williams, PensionPro, or similar TPA administration software
- ASPPA, NIPA, ERPA, QKA, QPA, TGPC, or other industry credentials preferred
- Bachelor's
degree or applicable experience
