Senior Plan Administrator

What You'll Be Doing
- Administer a diverse
caseload of qualified retirement plans from start to finish.
- Perform and review annual compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, Coverage, 410(b), 401(a)(4), and related nondiscrimination testing.
- Prepare and review Form 5500
filings and supporting schedules.
- Consult directly with plan sponsors, financial advisors, and CPAs regarding plan design, compliance matters, and operational questions.
- Research and resolve complex compliance and administrative
issues.
- Review plan documents and ensure plans remain compliant with IRS and DOL regulations.
- Assist with plan corrections and operational compliance matters when needed.
- Mentor and support junior administrators while serving as a
technical resource for the team.
- Contribute to process improvements and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of qualified retirement plan administration experience with a TPA,
recordkeeper, consulting firm, or retirement services provider.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS qualification requirements, and qualified plan compliance.
- Extensive experience performing compliance testing and preparing Form
5500s.
- Ability to confidently consult with plan sponsors regarding plan operations and compliance issues.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with systems such as FTW, Relius, ASC, PensionPro,
Datair, or similar administration software is preferred.
- ASPPA/NIPA credentials (QKA, QKC, CPC, etc.) are a plus but not required.

Compensation: 80,000 -125,000 base, plus
bonus
