Job Summary:         

Pentegra is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant to support and grow our independent fiduciary administration and retirement consulting platform. This role partners closely with external Regional Sales Directors to support financial advisors, recordkeepers, and strategic partners to drive new business opportunities and support relationships.

This role is ideal for a retirement sales professional who understands ERISA fundamentals, values a consultative sales approach, and is looking to grow within a fiduciary-focused organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to support territory strategy, pipeline development, and advisor engagement
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for advisors, supporting new plan opportunities, plan takeovers, and 3(16) fiduciary engagements
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, illustrations, and sales support materials that communicate Pentegra’s fiduciary value and service model
  • Manage inbound and outbound advisor communications to advance opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Track and manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate activity notes and follow-up
  • Support sold-case documentation and coordinate with onboarding and service teams for smooth execution
  • Assist with webinars, virtual meetings, and advisor events promoting Pentegra’s fiduciary expertise
  • Maintain working knowledge of ERISA, fiduciary trends, and competitive provider models to support advisor conversations

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in internal sales, sales support, client service, or related roles within retirement plans, fiduciary services, or financial services
  • Foundational knowledge of ERISA, defined contribution plans, and fiduciary concepts (3(16) exposure preferred including Cash Balance)
  • Series 6 & 63 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with proactive outbound advisor engagement
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for follow-through
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
