About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Relationship Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the primary contact for a portfolio of 120–160 clients, managing all aspects of the client experience with accuracy, professionalism, and care. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure each client receives prompt, personal, and professional service.
This is a telecommute position, open to candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones. Please note, this role is not a management or supervisory position.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, brokers, and CPAs via phone and email.
- Deliver annual valuation reports, Form 5500 and related schedules, and Form 8955-SSA.
- Assist clients with electronic filing and ensure timely submission of all required forms.
- Manage plan administration tracking and follow-up on year-end packages and census data.
- Review plan information for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate plan amendments and review them with clients.
- Work extended hours during peak periods to meet key deadlines.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of retirement plan administration experience.
- Strong working knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations.
- Experience with FT Williams Plan Administration; PensionPal experience is a plus.
- Above-average communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of various retirement plan types and platforms.
- QKA designation preferred or willingness to obtain.
