Karel-Gordon & Associates is looking for a new team member to join us as an experienced Defined Benefit/Cash Balance Actuarial Analyst.

We are a well-established actuarial, consulting and retirement plan administration firm located in Deerfield, IL. We are highly reputable and have been in business for almost 50 years.  As we continue our steady growth, we are looking for the right people to join our team.

Ideal Candidate has:

• At least 4 years of small DB/CB retirement plan experience
• Experience calculating accrued benefits, 415 limits and PVAB’s
• A proven track record of accurately and efficiently performing valuation work
• Strong working knowledge of IRS & DOL regulations, requirements, and filings
• Ability to analyze plan documents
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle duties with confidentiality and extreme professionalism
• Working knowledge and experience with Datair software is a plus
