Why we
are hiring for this role now:
We are hiring for this role to achieve two essential business objectives:
- Take over management of an existing book of client relationships
- Create capacity to support future expected
growth
Primary responsibilities of this role:
- Manage client relationships for a designated group of 85 - 125 profit-sharing, 401(k) and other retirement plan types
- Oversee and review work performed by
retirement plan administrators to ensure completeness and accuracy in core aspects of plan administration, as well as timely turnaround of deliverables to clients and partners
- Lead, mentor, and assist plan administrators in developing their
knowledge and skills
- Proactively consult with clients and investment advisers on various aspects of plan design, operations and compliance
- Communicate directly with clients, participants, partners, and team members using a variety of
mediums to provide proactive issue resolution
- Actively participate in company initiatives to improve internal operations, client retention, and overall value to our stakeholders
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops and industry conferences, reviewing professional publications, training, and cultivating a professional network
- Manage ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements to apply for this role:
- 3+ years of experience as a retirement plan administrator or plan consultant
- Familiarity with
ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code and related regulations that apply to qualified retirement plans
- ASPPA QKA credential or equivalent preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 office suite and Adobe Acrobat, as well as
a willingness and ability to learn other technology platforms quickly
- Experience with ASC (defined contribution compliance), DGEM (plan documents), FTWilliam (government filings), and PensionPro (workflow management) is preferred, but not
required
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak periods or as necessary

Compensation:
We will offer the right candidate a competitive compensation and benefits
package:
- Base salary $65,000 to $90,000+
- Bonus compensation based on KPIs and overall performance
- 401(k) with match up to 4%

- This opening is based in our office in Portland, Oregon, but
