Job Overview

The Benefits, Payroll & Mobility Solutions Team exists to attract, retain, and retire top talent by providing a precise, industry leading, and seamless benefits and payroll experience. We offer benefits and payroll solutions to a diverse and growing set of both domestic and international entities while influencing organizational strategy with a focus on financial discipline, ingenuity, and compliance.

This role ensures compliant and effective administration of retirement plans, specifically the 401(k), pension and nonqualified plans, serving Corporate Staff, Related Entities Staff and Retirees. This role requires attention to detail while also taking a broad perspective to identify solutions, the ability to assume responsibility with minimal supervision, conferring on unusual matters, and an eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment. As a Sr. Lead Analyst on the Retirement team, this individual will be responsible for complex assignments and for leading projects and programs independently.

Job Responsibilities & Activities

  • Determine retirement plan eligibility, lead the enrollment process, and manage complex trust distributions for both qualified and nonqualified plans
  • Maintain data integrity for defined contribution and defined benefit plans in partnership with HRIS professionals; responsible for integrations between third party vendor(s) and the payroll system
  • Process and review multiple biweekly and monthly payroll deductions and wire transfers to various providers; ability to review based on unique fact patterns according to plan and employer specifics, applying specialized knowledge
  • Leverage financial acumen to reconcile trust statements quarterly, prepare related financial reports and research employment and payroll discrepancies which impact retirement plans
  • Serve as a resource for Staff, exhibiting the ability to concisely articulate complex information, delivering a personal approach while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism
  • Responsible for established vendor relationships and adherence of vendors to multiple statements of work, service level expectations, and regulatory compliance requirements; ability to attain a working knowledge of existing contracts and to suggest improved contract terms as needed, in partnership with ERISA counsel
  • Lead the creation and distribution of effective and compliant benefits communications, incorporating an understanding of the organization’s overall benefits strategy
  • Implement or improve processes with an emphasis on automation, scale and understandability, ensuring timely compliance and illustrating value to participants
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information in strict accordance with Chick-fil-A, Inc.confidentiality and data security policies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
  • Financial acumen
  • Extreme attention to detail, strong organization and process skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, including tact and 
  • diplomacy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of ERISA, 409A, fiduciary rules, and other plan related legislation
  • Experience with Workday
  • Certified Public Accountant

Minimum 5 Years of Experience
10% Travel Requirements

Required Level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Major/Concentration: Accounting, Risk Management
