Retirement Plan Administrator: Schiller’s Pension Consulting (SPC) in San Mateo is a third party pension plan administration firm (TPA) that specializes in customized plan designs to fit the individual needs of a company.  Our 401(k) programs are mostly programs with T. Rowe Price or Vanguard that are no-load programs without an intermediary pension advisor.  Established in 1990, we handle all aspects of retirement administration.  We hope to be able to establish a Professional Employer Plan (PEP) with either T. Rowe Price or Vanguard.

We are looking for someone with retirement plan experience.  That could be someone who has done pension trust accounting, processed payroll deposits on a 401(k) platform, to more full administration experience in calculating contributions and running the testing.  For a very strong candidate there may be additional opportunities within the company.

Job Description:

We will provide training in these areas, to a candidate with pension experience and the aptitude to learn pension administration.

  • Prepare trust summaries
  • Review employee census data to determine plan eligibility
  • Calculate contributions and prepare contribution letters
  • Perform compliance testing including the ADP test
  • Prepare government forms including Form 5500
  • Communicate directly with clients and their professional advisors

SPC will support you in your training, advancement and continuing professional education through professional retirement industry designations such as ASPPA.
