Tenet Financial Group is an industry-leading Third-Party Administrator (TPA) of small business funding products and 401(k) Plans located in Aledo, Texas. We have been providing retirement plan administration services to our valued clients for over 14 years. We are currently seeking resumes for an experienced 401(k) Plan Administrator.
Job Title: 401(k) Plan Administrator
The 401(k) Plan Administrator for Tenet Financial Group administers and coordinates retirement plans for small businesses in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors. This includes, but is not limited to: Plan design and qualification, ADP/ACP testing, top heavy and coverage testing, contribution calculations for match, profit sharing and safe harbor, distribution and loan calculations, preparation of IRS Form 5500 and IRS Form 5558, preparation of IRS Form 1099-R, valuation/compliance reports, and asset reconciliation and trust accounting.
The primary job duty encompasses all aspects of 401(k) plan administration for a personal block of clients. This includes all client communication to help lead clients through the annual cycle of collecting, processing, and filing accurate data. It also includes working with team members and clients to ensure completion of all IRS compliance testing and filings by the required annual deadlines.
The 401(k) Plan Administrator is exposed to highly sensitive client and service information, and works in an intense, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Critical thinking, high attention to detail, accuracy, sound judgment, strong communication and follow-up skills, exceptional organizational skills, problem solving ability, knowledge of retirement plan administration and IRS regulations, and a positive and professional attitude are all vital to success in this position.
