Metro Benefits, Inc. is seeking to add a Retirement Plan Administrator to our team. We are looking for a positive, self-motivated individual that will be responsible for an assigned caseload of 401(k) Plans.

Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing all facets of Plan administration and annual compliance testing of qualified plans.
• This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Prepare, interpret and analyze the Plan Document
  • Data Collection and determination of Plan eligibility
  • Annual Nondiscrimination testing
  • Preparation of Form 5500 reports
  • Calculate contribution scenarios for Plan sponsors
  • Trust accounting and reconciliation
  • Preparation and review of participant loan and distribution packages as needed
  • Response to administrative questions from clients and advisors
  • Tracking and monitoring of job progress to meet compliance deadlines

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of plan administration preferred but not required
• College degree or comparable professional work experience
• Ability to multi-task; strong organizational skills, attention to detail
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers
• Excellent analytical skills including proficiency with Excel; Outlook; Word; etc.

• Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
