Powers Stromberg Pension Consulting is a small TPA firm with a big reach. We have an immediate need for an experienced retirement plan consultant capable of working independently to take care of all aspects of DC retirement plans, including audited plans. This is a full-time, exempt position that can be located in our office in Spokane, Washington or done remotely. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, except Memorial Day through Labor Day when we close at 3 pm on Fridays. Job Requirements:

• Perform annual plan compliance testing, including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), and 402(g) and work with client on corrective measures for failed tests
• Prepare and file Forms 5500, 5330, 8955-SSA and any other required filings
• Prepare employer contributions, including allocations under different testing scenarios
• Trust accounting and preparation of financial statements
• Communicate in a timely and professional manner with clients and their advisors
• Assist in distributions and loan documentation as needed
• Prepare annual report packets in accordance with company expectations
• Provide support and oversight for administration of plans in accordance with sponsor selected plan provisions

Individual Requirements:

• H. S. Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience with all facets of job requirements
• Professional designation or course work preferred
• Experience with Relius Administration software and Ft William website preferred but not required
• Excellent attention to detail and appropriate math skills
• Experience with MS Office programs
• Success working as a positive member of a team
