Job Summary

The Retirement Plans Specialist will have the responsibility for servicing the firm’s retirement plan clients and work in a team-based environment to maintain strong relationships with the firm’s clients and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Consult with the firm’s retirement plan clients on a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis.
• Conduct employee education sessions on retirement plans and a variety of financial wellness topics.
• Field questions from employees and communicate effectively to answer their questions.
• Provide support during the sales process for new retirement plan clients.
• Assist in onboarding new clients to the firm.
• Introduce participants to the Wealth Management Division for other services offered by the firm.
• Schedule, organize, and confirm appointments, meetings, and phone calls with current and prospective clients.
• Research suggested solutions to support recommendations.
• Promote the organization by developing relationships within the industry and community.
• Ensure all business conducted complies with the laws and regulations set forth as well as ensure policies/procedures are followed in a responsible manner.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to meet requirements and personal development goals.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred
• Customer Service experience required
• 1-3 years of retirement plan experience required

Certificates and Licenses

• Series 65 license required. However, a strong candidate with the ability to obtain the required license within 90 days will be considered.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
