Become a Pension Administration Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll report to the Principal Manager of Benefits and serve as the day-to-day subject matter expert on Edison’s wealth benefit plans. You will interface with Edison Internal departments (HR, Legal, IT, Payroll, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting and Disability Management), the outsourced benefits administration vendor, employees, retirees, consultants, and actuaries to effectively administer our wealth plans. The scope of focus includes the Company’s qualified defined benefit pension plan; 401(k) savings plan and an employee stock purchase plan (ESPP).
Your key responsibilities include researching and resolving complex and elevated participant plan issues, serve as the liaison between the Plan’s Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) vendor; monitor 401(k) plan loans, coordinate response to subpoenas; research and coordinate responses to formal ERISA claims; prepare packages for executive review of Plan appeals and vendor management of our outsourced benefits recordkeeper.
