Our benefits division, U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group (USEBSG), provides an array of employee benefit solutions that include plan design, core and voluntary products, online enrollment, plan administration, third party administration, specialty health plans, and HR compliance through our Partner Firms.

We are hiring an Account Manager for our Partner Firm:

Titan Insurance and Employee Benefits Agency, located in Rochester, NY

Position Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service to USRBP’s clients through managing day-to-day activities of an assigned group of accounts. You will work collaboratively with a team to deliver proactive, personalized support to assigned clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading the team through the USEBSG annual consulting calendar to deliver results.

The right candidate will directly contribute to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing USRBP’s value to our clients and prospects, and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

Major responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of business comprised of clients ranging from small-group community rated up to and potentially including self-funded large groups
  • Develop and promote alternative strategies for the enhancement, retention, and personalization of benefits for each client
  • Develop and foster relationships with clients by regularly scheduling and attending client meetings
  • Maintenance of client satisfaction with a retention target of 95% or higher annually
  • Usage of appropriate resources to serve clients properly (Provided by USRBP)
  • Develop and foster relationships with carrier and vendor partners
  • Responsible for marketing and placement of new benefit products
  • Manage renewal process for all lines of coverage
  • Compare and contrast carriers and plans for each line of coverage
  • Ability to foster collaborative and educational meetings with employees, on a quarterly basis
  • Conduct Open Enrollment meetings in-person and virtually to clients (some travel may be required)

Skills and Abilities:

  • Account Management experience in the Health and/or Benefits industry– 3 to 5 yrs.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Ability to present virtually/in person in front of large audiences
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must hold or be willing to earn Life, Accident, and Health insurance license – Strongly Preferred
  • Keep informed about industry trends, technology, and the evolving world of employee benefits
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to delegate appropriately and manage team-members’ deliverables
