Our benefits division, U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group (USEBSG), provides an array of employee benefit solutions that include plan design, core and voluntary products, online enrollment, plan administration, third party administration, specialty health plans, and HR compliance through our Partner Firms.

USRBP is hiring an Internal Wholesaler for our Partner Firm, The Retirement Plan Company (TRPC) located in Brentwood, TN.

This is a full-time W-2 position (Remote). 

Position Overview:

TRPC is seeking an Internal Wholesaler who will be responsible for presenting and delivering value added solutions to distribution partners, financial intermediaries, and plan sponsors. The person in this role will continually seek new distribution opportunities through multiple distribution channels. A qualified candidate will have related experience, sound knowledge of retirement plans, regulations, trends, and best practices as it relates to plan administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospects within given territory by maximizing the opportunity afforded by sales leads generated from a variety of resources, including, but not limited to, personal production and networking.
  • Develops marketing plan with RVP partner detailing activities and maximizing lead activity from all channels.
  • Educates and promotes benefits of partnering with TRPC through advisor community.
  • Utilizing CRM, maintains accurate and up to date records.
  • Acts as liaison between the adviser or plan sponsor contact and TRPC throughout sales cycle.
  • Assists management in keeping abreast of changes in the marketplace.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required skills/experience:

  • Sound knowledge of retirement plans, regulations, trends, and best practices as it relates to retirement plan types.
  • Prior experience selling qualified retirement plans through multiple distribution channels preferred.
  • Advance problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Dynamics.
  • Experience maintaining client and business partner relationships.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Team player.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other related field or equivalent experience.
