The Retirement Learning Center (RLC) is a nationally recognized retirement education, training and consulting firm with offices in New York and Minnesota.

Work remotely or at our Brainerd, MN office. Flexible work schedules are available.

Presently, RLC is seeking two individuals with technical knowledge and experience with

  • Qualified retirement plans,
  • IRAs,
  • Nonqualified deferred compensation plans and
  • Other executive and stock compensation arrangements

Main Duties

  • Answer phone calls and emails from financial advisors on ERISA and executive compensation technical issues and client cases
  • Analyze qualified and nonqualified plan documents
  • Assist financial advisors with ERISA and executive compensation client cases
  • Part-time travel for speaking engagements

These two positions are mid- to senior-level, full-time positions for self-motivated, independent workers with

  • An eagerness to support financial advisors and other professionals in the retirement services industry;
  • A thorough understanding of IRS and Department of Labor rules governing qualified retirement plans, IRAs, nonqualified plans, stock compensation and executive compensation arrangements and their operation;
  • The ability to review, interpret and succinctly summarize retirement plan and executive compensation document provisions;
  • Experience interpreting IRS Form 5500 filings;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel; and
  • Strong communication skills.
