Thompson Hine LLP seeks an attorney to join our Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation group, top ranked by Chambers in Ohio.
This position can be based out any of the following offices: Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, or Washington D.C.
The group counsels clients on a broad range of employee benefits and executive compensation issues, including plan design and administration of health and welfare benefit programs, retirement plans, and non-qualified deferred compensation plans. Our clients include publicly traded corporations, privately owned companies, financial institutions and a variety of tax-exempt organizations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in employee benefits, including demonstrated ability in counseling clients relating to health and welfare plan compliance, drafting of health and welfare plan documents and participant communications, and negotiating services agreements. A strong work ethic and the ability to foster client relationships are also required.
