Senior Actuarial Analyst/ Project Manager

Our team is currently hiring for an experienced actuarial analyst/project manager looking to apply their skills in a flexible and collaborative work environment. This position is geared towards an experienced analyst/manager who can immediately contribute to our client valuation workflow. This is a full-time position, working 30-40 hours/week.

This position is ideal for an enthusiastic actuary who is self-motivated, loves the technical and creative challenges of pension and OPEB work, and is able to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.

Job Responsibilities

You’ll be working cooperatively with our analysts and consultants to:

• Manage preparation of pension and OPEB valuations, from data collection to final report production
• Provide technical review of analyst work, and help with revisions as needed
• Assist consultants with developing client deliverable materials
• Develop internal best practices and streamline existing processes

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior actuarial analyst/project manager
• Extensive experience with ProVal preferred, or similar parameter-driven valuation system
• Actuarial credentials (or pursuit of credentials) not required

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of ERISA pension funding rules; ideally have experience with public sector pension/OPEB valuations too
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage several projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and professional quality work
• Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and OneNote
