Associated Pension Services, Inc., (APS) is a Third Party Administrator and full service retirement consulting firm concentrating on corporate 401(k) plans. APS handles pre-approved plan documentation, plan design, initial plan preparation, annual administration, plan management, and ensures legal and fiduciary compliance. APS provides ongoing employee education, enrollment services, and plan maintenance.

Position Summary:

Support financial advisors and plan administrators by preparing enrollment materials for client meetings, updating and organizing participant data, and processing enrollment paperwork. This is a full-time position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an effective enrollment process
  • Organize and maintain internal client records used for enrollment meetings
  • Coordinate and revise ongoing client census communications for future enrollments
  • Oversee the preparation and creation of enrollment packets
  • Enroll and update participant records in retirement plans via the recordkeeping websites
  • Retain communication reports consisting of census and payroll information
  • Provide ongoing communication with client HR and Payroll personal
  • Answer client questions regarding eligibility, enrollment, deferrals, and beneficiary forms

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update participant notices/documents
  • Backup and cross train on other departments
  • Other duties as assigned – Participate in various projects or initiatives

Position Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience and working knowledge preferred
  • High degree of accuracy with attention to detail required
  • Work independently and with others in a small office environment
  • Must have extensive experience with Microsoft Office, mainly Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Professionalism and courtesy in dealing with fellow employees and clients
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, not required
  • Uphold a high degree of confidentiality
