Plan Administration Team Leader, Production

Description:

The team leader is responsible for providing guidance and leadership to a team of Compliance Analysts for the purpose of achieving high quality compliance production and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary contact for a team of Compliance Analysts
• Manage activities for assigned clients within TRA compliance standards, communicating technical information effectively with internal and external clients
• Support the change process to achieve intended organization and cultural outcomes
• Recommend and implement procedure/process improvements to increase production and quality of work
• Assist with the development of training for staff members including the coordination of the training schedule and relaying training needs to the Plan Administration Manager, Production
• Provide input to Plan Administration Manager, Production on performance appraisals for a team of Compliance Analysts
• Prepare production reports and present information to Plan Administration Manager, Production on a timely basis
• Leading and/or supporting key projects that seek to enhance existing service and operational models within TRA
• Maintain awareness of the laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures appropriate for this position
• Outstanding TRA Corporate Citizen dedicated to maintaining TRAs reputation at all times in the communities we touch
• Perform other job related duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of defined contribution plan administration experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understanding of regulatory aspects of defined contribution plan administration and other defined contribution regulatory issues involving ERISA and IRS Revenue Rulings
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills, with the ability to track multiple tasks and issues, set goals and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
• ASPPA QKA or ERPA designation, or approved equivalent, required
