Senior Analyst, Retirement Benefits Compliance

The Senior Retirement Benefits Analyst is responsible for supporting TriNet’s retirement plans including ensuring adherence to TriNet retirement plan administration and regulatory compliance procedures and standards.

The Sr. Analyst will work closely with the external retirement plan providers and internal TriNet Departments to promote growth of the 401(k) plan for colleagues, existing clients, and prospects. The role will also offer regulatory compliance support for fiduciary oversight functions.

Essential duties/responsibilities

  • Retirement Compliance professional designation or certification preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of benefits, retirement, and/or compliance experience.
  • PEO industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft HRMS a plus.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand plan documents and retirement regulations.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance best practices.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to capture and maintain data.
  • Willingness to maintain and grow retirement expertise through course work and independent learning.
  • Ability to participate in related courses, networking events, and webinars in order to maintain top level knowledge of regulatory changes.
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels within the organization and establish rapport and effective relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced constantly evolving business and work environment while handling multiple priorities.
  • Proficient with MS Word and Power Point; intermediate MS Excel proficiency.
  • A shown commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.

This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States.

Compensation and Benefits:

For applicants in the state of Colorado, the salary range for this role is $77,700 to $111,000. A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
