Long Island Employee Benefits Group (LIEBG) is a full-service boutique Third Party Administration firm located in Huntington, NY.  We have been specializing in Pension Plan/Employee Benefits Consulting and Administration since 1988.

We are currently seeking an experienced DC Plan Administrator (DB/DC also welcome) to fill a position either in-office, remote, or hybrid.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan consulting and client communications
  • Preparation and maintenance of plan documents
  • Reconciliation of employee census data
  • Contribution calculations, allocations, and reconciliations
  • Trust accounting and reconciliation
  • Perform all compliance testing (e.g. ADP/ACP, 401(a)(4), 410(b), Top-Heavy)
  • Preparation of valuation reports and employee statements
  • Form 5500/8955-SSA preparation
  • RMD calculations
  • QDRO review/calculations
  • Form 1099-R/945 preparation

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of retirement plan administration experience
  • Experience with Relius Administration, Datair Pension Reporter, and ftwilliam.com documents are a plus
  • Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS and DOL rules and regulations
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Excel, Word, Adobe
  • Excellent math, analytical, and organization skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with management review and support
  • Deadline oriented and excellent time management skills
  • ASPPA designations are a plus
