Why we are hiring for this role:

We are hiring for this role to achieve three important business goals:

  • Increase referral business “today”
  • Develop and execute strategy for getting direct business “tomorrow”
  • Create recruiting pool for new external sales consultants so we can expand to new territories in the “future”

Primary responsibilities of this role:

  • Convert direct prospects to loyal clients. You will assist the Director of Business Development with creating and implementing a marketing strategy to generate direct leads from business owners, executive officers, and human resource and payroll administrators of small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Deepen and expand relationships. You will collaborate with an assigned sales consultant to deepen and expand relationships with financial advisers, wholesalers, accountants, attorneys, and DCIO partners. Your efforts will include proactive outreach, appointment scheduling, event planning, blog writing, and various other marketing efforts.
  • Assist in developing new business. You will work collaboratively with an assigned sales consultant to assist with generating, underwriting, proposing, and following up on new opportunities to win business.
  • Develop technical expertise. You will develop and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and industry conferences, reviewing
