Retirement Plan Administrator

Small National TPA

in Remote

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Ability to complete eligibility determination, maximize contribution calculations, and all annual nondiscrimination testing;
  • Strong background with trust accounting and reconciliation of Plan assets;
  • Proficiency in Tax Form preparation (Form 5500 & all related schedules);
  • Ability to understand and navigate a Plan Document;
  • Provision of miscellaneous administrative support to management;
  • Service as primary point-of-contact for 401(k) plan sponsors regarding all necessary information to process annual work;
  • Aptitude to pitch in and support the business as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in DC administration;
  • ASPPA (or NIPA) designation preferred, such as a QKA;
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Excel, Word, and FTW, and Pension Pro experience preferred but not required; 
  • Excellent math, analytical, and organization skills, strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently & meet requested deadlines, with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to work well in a virtual team environment;
  • Ability to communicate effectively & professionally (both verbally & in writing) with varying audiences, (e.g., clients, advisors, record keepers, auditors, etc.)
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Initiative and drive to research and communicate with regard to problem solving;
  • Desire to learn new processes and job functions;
  • Ambition for growth!
