Job Overview

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be focusing on identifying new sales prospects, and developing prospects into qualified meetings for Sales executives. You will work closely with other members of the sales team and marketing to execute your sales plan through multiple channels including phone, email, and social media.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research prospects and identify key contacts using Custodia’s databases and other public resources.
  • Develop prospecting strategies that focus on the customer’s needs and showcase product value.
  • Execute strategic prospecting campaigns to target accounts with professional and persistent follow up to generate qualified meetings for Sales Executives.
  • Meet monthly targets for outbound emails and calls.
  • Maintain consistent contact and follow up with all accounts in active pipeline.
  • Keep CRM records up to date in Salesforce.
  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while developing relationships with prospects and customers that result in customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas.
  • Set follow up calls/meetings with Sales Executives based on pre-determined calendar availability
  • Consistent communication with outside sales regarding provider needs.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in person and via phone and email.
  • Work location is Dallas, TX

About You

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience selling payroll, HR, or retirement services
  • Training in tele-selling is preferred
  • A team player comfortable working in a fast pace high volume environment.
  • Familiarity with or other CRM system.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Skilled in writing effective e-mails, presentations and/or documents for external circulation.
  • Ability to listen empathetically, understand information presented by people with different communication styles and different points of view, and mediate disagreements.
