We are a boutique firm specializing in 401(k) and Defined Benefit Plan design and administration for small businesses. We have a dedicated team of 15 employees, with retirement being the only reason any employees have left in the past 15 years. The ideal candidate will be a detailed, analytical, self-motivated and client/employee-oriented person that has great time management skills and is wanting to expand their skills and knowledge.   • Performing compliance testing including ADP/ACP, 401(a)(4), 410(b), Top Heavy, etc.
  • Calculation and allocation of contributions to include matching, integrated, and new comparability.
  • Trust Accounting and asset reconciliation of plans on various outside recordkeeeping platforms, pooled accounts, and individual brokerage accounts.
  • Preparation of 5500-SFs, EZs and other government forms
  • Opportunity to learn about and work on DB plans if interested
  • Interpreting  Plan documents and provisions
  • Replying professionally via phone and email to questions from assigned book of clients


  • Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, with great attention to detail
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently while working alone or in a team
  • Strong organizational skills: track tasks, set goals, and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • ASPPA or other industry designation – preferred, but not required
  • Experience with  following software preferred, but not required: Datair  Administration software, ASC Documents, PensionPal
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working for a TPA firm- STRONGLY preferred
