This position will be a critical role reporting to the Manager of Retirement Disbursements, helping to oversee the loan and retirement distribution process. In addition, the position will resolve reconciliation issues and work closely with other departments to ensure the most efficient outcome for the participant and department.  Key responsibilities and duties include supporting the retirement operations team, problem-solving, maintaining quality control and procedures, and assisting other departments with audit requests.

  • Process distribution and loan requests in a timely manner
  • Provide support by reconciling difficult distribution and loan transactions
  • Continue to meet and exceed daily and weekly deadlines


  • Provide support to team members and ensure the best customer experience both internally and externally
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to develop solutions as issues arise and help create best practices for the overall department


  • Continually work with the team on ways to streamline and improve processes and systems
  • Bring a positive “Can Do” attitude to everything you do on a daily basis


  • Continue to grow knowledge of distribution and loan rules and regulations by attending seminars, webcasts and reading articles and books on the subject
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Relius recordkeeping system and Loan Management System to  resolve issues and provide support to team members


  • Develop strong partnerships with the Call Center and Client Services teams
  • Continue to document and update procedures as processes change
  • Look for opportunities to cross-train and learn the processes of other team members as it relates to the procedures you perform

  Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Possess strong financial acumen/math skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus and excellent client services skills
  • Keen attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Superb time management, multi-tasking, and follow up skills
  • Thrive in a team environment and be a positive team player

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three years of experience in retirement plan administration or financial operations
  • Experience with Relius administration systems a Plus

Additional details

  • Business Travel: Travel is less than 25%
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Job Type: Full-time
