Transaction Coordinator

Responsible for actively monitoring the processing queues, independently performing daily transactions within a team atmosphere and ensuring these transactions are processed in compliance with IRS & ERISA guidelines as well as the applicable plan document provisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Process more complex transactions (internally referred to as Tier III, which includes Tier I and II as needed
  • Mentor other TCs, assisting with training as needed
  • Serve as PPAs for non-preferred providers, keeping procedures updated for these providers ensuring both internal efficiency and high quality service for our clients
  • Maintain high standard of quality work and production goals, both individually and as a team
  • Pull loan reports on a quarterly basis for preparation of the valuation process
  • Communicates effectively with Plan Sponsors, Plan Advisors, Plan Providers, and Internal Office Staff
  • Keeps current on procedures, laws, and other facets that may impact processing, functioning as an SMA for the Processing Team in assigned areas
  • Participation in key projects as assigned
  • Outstanding TRA Corporate Citizen dedicated to maintaining TRA’s reputation at all times in the communities we touch
  • Perform other job related duties or special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Two years of related experience, higher education, or any equivalent combination of experience and knowledge
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office programs and basic math skills
  • Must be engaged and able to work with people at all knowledge levels
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills, with the ability to track multiple tasks and issues, set goals and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
