Currently, we are seeking a strong Third-Party Plan Administrator that sees themselves as a leader who wants to join a firm that fosters both personal and professional development and supports the drive for advancement. This person could work Remote or out of our Tampa, FL office.  

This position involves qualified plan administration for over 70 retirement plans from beginning to end – 401(k) plans.  The ideal candidate will have pension/retirement plan administration experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. This position will have direct client contact, therefore will be expected to have superior customer service skills.  This person will play an integral role in ensuring retirement plans are administered accurately and professionally each plan year. 


  • Ensure that client plan documents are administered in compliance with Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor requirements and guidelines.
  • Communicates with clients about plan provisions
  • Employee census eligibility calculations
  • Nondiscrimination, coverage and top-heavy testing
  • Employer vesting, match, and non-elective contribution calculations
  • Preparation of form 5500 and applicable schedules
  • Miscellaneous client projects and assistance as necessary


  • 2+ years TPA related experience and/or training
  • Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in finance/accounting, or equivalent work experience, Preferred
  • Experience with for Compliance, 5500's and Plan Documents and Microsoft Excel, Required
  • Dedicated to taking ownership, honoring commitments, and delivering results
  • Committed to paying attention to the details and investing in relationships
  • Must be able to get clear on client expectations and look ahead and anticipate the needs of a client
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
