Prior experience in some or all aspects of qualified plan administration is required. We will consider candidates of all levels, part-time or full-time, and remote workers.

The position is responsible for overseeing an assigned client list and handling all aspects of record keeping, compliance testing and government reporting requirements for assigned plans.  There is significant contact with clients, brokers, payroll vendors and other parties involved in each plan.

The position's primary responsibilities are to:

  • Research and resolve inquiries from company owners, plan trustees, human resource, payroll personnel, brokers, and investment advisors. 
  • Ensure all plan activity is in compliance with plan documents and ERISA regulations and guidelines.
  • Verify census data, determine eligibility, dates of participation and vesting.
  • Prepare Coverage, Top Heavy and Non-Discrimination testing as appropriate and determine corrective measures.
  • Calculate various employer contribution allocations and scenarios, including new comparability calculations.
  • Handle client requests for various participant distribution types including hardship, in-service, termination and loan distributions.
  • Coordinate with Support Team regarding annual census and 5500 preparation.
  • Relius experience a plus!
