What you’ll do

We’re looking for a health plan’s expert to join our team as our ERISA Plan Documents Administrator. In this role, you’ll tap into your analytical and writing skills to draft ERISA Plan Documents for clients’ Employee Health & Welfare Benefit Plans. Under the direction of the compliance manager, you’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments on benefit-related issues.

In this role, you’ll also:

  • Develop, maintain and update all legally/required benefit plan documents
  • Draft and finalize amendments to clients’ Plans
  • Analyze plan document language and complete comparisons in order to incorporate appropriate contract provisions
  • Maintain a working knowledge of state and federal regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.)

The ideal candidate has:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 – 4 years of experience in health plan administration, employee benefits, or benefit plan compliance in the healthcare industry 
  • Experience drafting Health and Welfare Benefit Plan documents
  • Education or training related to employee benefit plan rules or other administrative regulations
  • Experience in benefit plan compliance environment (a plus)
