Job Description

As a 401(k) Recordkeeping Manager at JULY you will enjoy the unique challenge of putting your 401(k) recordkeeping background to work alongside a team of other retirement plan professionals to support the daily recordkeeping needs of an assigned group of retirement plan clients and their investment advisors.  In this role you will report to the Senior Director of Recordkeeping Services and play a key role in managing the recordkeeping operations for JULY.

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary recordkeeping contact for a block of retirement plans.
  • Utilize recordkeeping experience to resolve trading, transaction, and plan website issues assigned from the Client Service Managers.
  • Build relationships with clients and advisors to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Support and supervise one or more recordkeeping team members.
  • Understand and be able to communicate key recordkeeping functions.
  • Document projects and responses within JULYs CRM software tool.
  • Provide guidance and support for one or more recordkeeping team members.
  • Maintain knowledge regarding industry trends and legislative/regulatory requirements and changes.

Skills / Experience / Credentials

  • 5 or more years of 401(k) recordkeeping experience with in-depth knowledge of recordkeeping transactions, trading, reconciliation, and plan technology and websites.
  • Experience with FIS Relius recordkeeping system preferred.
  • Experience in retirement plan administration a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • Certifications through ASPPA, including QKA or equivalent or willingness to work towards credentials.
