WHO IS WALKER BENEFITS?

Walker Benefits is a TPA firm active in the small retirement plan market place in Western Pennsylvania and has been in existence since 1989.  We provide outstanding customer service to our plan sponsors including customized plan design, annual administration, and overall client care. 

WHAT POSITION IS AVAILABLE?

We are currently looking for a full time Benefits Consultant to maintain client level responsibility for an assigned caseload of plans.  You will work directly with the plan sponsors and advisors to ensure that the retirement plan is meeting the needs of the business owner and his or her employees.  You will have the full support of the Walker Benefits Team in performing your duties.

WHAT ARE MY DUTIES?

Your duties will include plan design, annual administration and compliance work, 5500 preparation, contribution calculations, maintaining and enhancing client and advisor relationships, and all of the customer service that goes along with supporting the plan sponsor with his or her retirement plan.

WHERE WILL I WORK?

On-site and remote opportunities will be considered.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

We are looking for an experienced retirement plan professional who has:

  • 5 years of experience servicing defined contribution 401k retirement plans
  • QKA designation
  • 4 year college degree
  • Experience with Relius Plan Administration Software and FT. Williams Form 5500 Preparation Software desirable
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
