Managing Director, Insperity 401(k) Plans

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for directing the efficient and effective operations, regulatory compliance, and service delivery for the Insperity 401(k) Plan and the Insperity Corporate 401(k) Plans (Insperity Plans) in alignment with the Company’s business goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under limited supervision and heavy decision-making:

  • Directs the efficient and effective operations and compliance activities of the Insperity Plans in order to achieve the organization’s business goals and objectives.
  • Develops, designs and maintains industry best practices for the Insperity Plans.
  • Acts as consultant to management providing strategic advice, guidance and solutions regarding the Insperity Plans.
  • Directs compliance of the Insperity Plans with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Provides functional direction, guidance and support to field to facilitate operations and sales process.
  • Directs negotiations with vendors regarding service and operations with respect to the Insperity Plans.
  • Directs communication and training of programs for internal staff and participants.
  • Provides input and assistance with budget preparation.
     

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required. MBA and/or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Must have 15 years extensive knowledge of retirement program design, development and/or operations. Knowledge of the Professional Employer Organization industry is preferred.
     

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Independent planning, organizing and scheduling skills required. The ability to research and analyze situations and make time sensitive decisions is critical to this position.
  • Proven track record of successful business operations and or business units.
  • Able to work as an effective leader and develop working relationships needed to accomplish organizational goals.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, orally and in writing; and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
     

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Yes, up to 20% of time
