Who We Are and What We Do

Compass Retirement Consulting Group is a third-party administrator (TPA) that provides client companies with retirement plan design, administration, actuarial services, and ongoing consulting services to ensure our clients’ plans are in compliance with DOL, ERISA, IRS, and other regulations.  Our headquarters are in Stratham, NH, but our clients are nationwide in various industries and sizes.  We are passionate about the use of technology and are always looking for more streamlined ways to perform tasks.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a mid-to-senior level individual with a passion for sharing their knowledge with others and the ability to coordinate and deliver training to entry-level staff members.  In addition, create an ongoing training program for our tenured staff on different monthly topics.  Those with A to Z TPA plan administration experience who want to take a step back from direct client contact and work to develop, and mentor others, are encouraged to apply.  Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and train others in person or virtually are key.  Those with experience using Datair, Pension Pro, or FT Williams software knowledge are highly desirable.  Full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities available working remotely or in our Stratham, NH office. 

What You Will Do

The Training Specialist will use their prior experience to prepare training sessions and written material for various levels of employees to facilitate learning. 

Specific tasks include:

  • develop and coordinate training programs for newly hired Plan Administrators that will provide them with the necessary knowledge to understand a plan document, perform annual testing, complete asset valuations, perform calculations (employer contributions, and true-ups), and complete required filings. 
  • develop and coordinate training programs for newly hired 3(16) Customer Service Representatives that will provide them with the necessary knowledge to upload payroll, process deferrals and distributions, and other required tasks. 
  • schedule, prepare logistics, and deliver technical training to various levels of employees
  • coordinate with others to devise a schedule of training opportunities
  • provide training on the use of software including Datair, PensionPro, and FTWilliams.
