Benefit Comply, LLC is hiring!  We are looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Health & Welfare Compliance Consultant, JD preferred and experience working in the employee benefit broker space a plus.

At Benefit Comply we help our clients understand and effectively deal with compliance rules and regulations related to employee benefit plans. Our compliance professionals keep up to date on constantly changing rules and distill complicated laws and regulations into the information employers need to know to comply. Benefit Comply specializes in assisting health & welfare benefits plan administrators and employee benefits consultants in delivering valuable compliance support to their clients.  Our clients turn to Benefit Comply for help with: Health Insurance Reform, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, ICHRA, Section 125, and more.

If you are an experienced employee benefits compliance professional able to answer the tough employee benefits compliance questions, assist with pesky regulatory details and generally help clear up benefits compliance confusion, we would love to hear from you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and build a productive, trusting relationship with our clients
  • Provide health & welfare benefits compliance guidance to clients across the nation
  • Responsible for responding to clients' benefits questions and related requests (by phone and/or in writing)
  • May provided more in-depth consultative support to a dedicated roster of clients
  • Participate in planning and delivering webinars and live trainings and seminars
  • Compose alerts, summaries, and blog posts on timely or relevant compliance topics
  • Help develop new content for compliance-related tools and resources to support our clients
  • Keep current with health and welfare compliance by regularly reviewing legislation, agency guidance, relevant news and attending trainings
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for client inquiries and internal development of people and resources
  • Collaborate with colleagues to constantly improve team workflow
  • Engage in mentoring and coaching activities for team members
  • Suggest best practices and efficiencies to support healthier workplaces and company growth


  • 4+ years’ experience working with employee benefits health and welfare benefits compliance
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge across a wide variety of health and welfare benefits-related topics
  • Ability to organize and efficiently manage multiple priorities with a keen sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated experience working with various benefits compliance topics, composing written explanations of employment law and employee relations issues Are we asking for HR/employment law experience?
  • Ability to consult and advise with confidence, and strong business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and oral), and presentation skills
  • Strong customer service skills; ability to explain complex benefit issues to others with limited benefits experience in an easy to understand way
  • High level of discretion and ability follow confidentiality protocols
  • JD preferred
