Defined Contribution Plan Administrator

West Coast TPA Firm

Remote Defined Contribution Plan Administrator

We are a fast-growing TPA firm searching for the right candidate to join our team. We are a West Coast-based firm that is looking to hire for a remote position. Knowledge of ASC software, including Documents, Administration and CATTS, is important, though not required.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining client and financial professional relationships
  • Review of census data / determine eligibility
  • Contribution calculations / allocations
  • Compliance / non-discrimination testing
  • Plan valuations
  • Prepare Form 5500 and related schedules
  • Prepare, restate and interpret plan documents
  • Processing Loans and Distributions
  • Clear and effective on-going verbal and written communication with our clients

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in qualified plan administration
  • ASPPA designation preferred (QKA/QPA) or willingness to obtain designation
  • Defined Benefit / Cash Balance experience a plus
  • Knowledge of ASC software preferred (though not required)
  • Knowledge of current ERISA, IRS and DOL rules and regulations
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and prioritizing workload
